Ph.D. Synthetic Chemist We are looking for an outstanding chemist to join our team. This individual will:
Perform scale-up synthesis of standardized organic photonic and electronic materials, and develop extensions to existing methods and protocol.
Evaluate, select and apply scientific or engineering procedures and techniques to develop high-performance organic/hyvrid functional materials, involving material synthesis and processing, and work with end-users for prototype devices, etc.
Possess excellent communication skills with strong capability in generating technical and scientific reports, publications, and scientific presentations.
Interact with researchers from the University of Washington to accomplish research goals.
Maintain good interpersonal relationships with colleagues and customers.
Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, or materials science: 4-5 years experience in synthesis, processing, and characterizations of organic materials or equivalent combination of education/experience.
